The rhyme is a literary device often used in poems
Ever since ancient times.
has the distinction of giving rhythm and musicality of the text, so much so that lends itself well to the accompaniment of music (giving rise to the "songs").
Since the advent of so-called "free or metrical poetry and free verse" poetry typical of the twentieth century, today its use has declined largely because of its connotative ambivalent.
The rhyme is not an easy use, despite the common belief, it is distinguished by precise rules, and also inevitably imposes constraints in the use of vocabulary, for that those who wish to use must be sought. The risk that arises is, in fact, the loss of refinement of the text, in other words an author can end inexperienced to subdue the lexical sophistication in research "rhyme." One consequence of this loss is the loss of originality of the text, which becomes mediocre and predictable.
The rhyme works when: 1) the terms involved are mostly unpredictable, stylish (if they are not scholars should at least be a few) 2) The rhyme is approached other figures of speech, 3) There is too often the same type of rhyme (particularly the rhyming couplets), 4) is better appreciated if it is spread between the lines, not defining a geometric pattern, as it may seem excessively mechanical.
In conclusion, we quote some brief reference to "rap".

My personal opinion about it is that in Italian culture, with our vocabulary, rapping is more complicated with regard to the texts , in particular because of long words and not truncated as in English, but by no means impossible. Although there is a recipe, I think to do here is a good text, an extensive cultural knowledge (be careful not mean a degree) with respect to this kind, a wealth of vocabulary (not to be repeated and do not expire the banal and vulgar), and finally, may seem obvious but in reality I do not think that it is, something important and meaningful to say.
